Best laid plans

Wanted to stay up until 2 and watch til lunch, then get up at 8.30 to see the rest on Plus.

Could only stay awake for the first hour, went to bed, woken by radio alarm at 6.30 which *immediately* told me the score - (230-6, good effort!) so jumped out of bed to watch the rest of the day's play then went back to bed and just got up.

Not really the smoothest Ashes night. For day 2, I really think I'll just go to bed early and get up at 5.30. I reckon with ff between deliveries I could probably do the whole day in 90 minutes.
