thing is you've got to compare it with his other option:

namely premiership football, either now or in the very near future. Can Rangers pay more than premiership clubs can? Doubt it. Would he rather play a few champions league games, and Motherwell a lot, or premierhsip games?

Hopefully the latter. And hopefully he's feeling patient.
