If Ashton wants to further his career then why go the Mickey Mouse League?
Scottish football is a total joke the only plus side for a player like Ashton would be the guaranteed thirty goals he would score against the other Scottish part-timers.
We paid nearly ?4 million for Ashton and he?s now proven at Premiership level. His goals to games ration would have given him 16 league goals if we had signed him in the summer.
As far as I?m concerned we shouldn?t accept anything below ?10 million for him this year. If we?re still in the Fizzy League next summer then we might be able to accept a lower price but it is not the right time to sell at the moment.
