If he is fit enough for the bench then why did he not come on instead of Elmander?

More match fitness more to offer etc. The frustration is with Hughton's like for like swaps which are fine to alleviate tiredness but by bringing on a lesser player (Elmander is debatable yes) when we needed more to break through Cardiff's defence. We were not as strong with Elmander and I would argue that Snodgrass and Martin were showing more sins of tiredness than Hooper.
