Wages aside, Bent would have been ideal. Someone who can score goals in a poor side

2 in 6 for a poor Fulham this season. I know that Lambert cast him off, but it's easier to do that when you have Bent, Weimann and Agbonlahor available.

I know I will probably be mocked for this post, but with RVW coming in I'd have preferred someone like Bent >>>>> Hooper. Jermaine Defoe doesn't start much these days either. Again, maybe that's crazy talk, but other clubs of our stature have shown that type of ambition and succeeded.
