I guess they need to knock it down for access purposes
It's such a shame.
Not a particularly old building, but It's certainly unique (I reckon it would be good as a pub/restaurant). And it's the loss of a large open space in the city, plus the land is next door to a school which could surely use it.
Speaking as someone who spent countless Saturday afternoons there (playing and watching). I'm gutted.
