I suggested a new formation a while back but nobody was impressed

I was trying to come up with a way we could be more coherent as an 11 and not a 10+1. People didn't think it'd work, but didn't say why, which in fairness I couldn't have either: I was hoping one of the more tactically aware among us (hello Holtamania and the other guy whose names escapes me for the mo).

My reasoning is that while many sides play one up front to give greater control in the midfield, we shouldn't need to use a flat back four, and could push the FBs up a notch and play a passer in front of the CBs.

I'm going to try and picture this, tho it'd help if I could draw arrows on here:

Where teety or Snodds depends on the oppo and/or the state of the game, and subs deployed on the same basis.
