Has there been anyone in or around the club in the past 40 years with a bigger personality?

He used to do the Club Canary coaches back in the 80s and he was just about the most imposing man I have met.

I remember getting on the coach to Liverpool for the FA Cup game in 1986 - I was 14. It was early... and absolutely bloody freezing. But he was there at the front, cajoling everyone, cracking jokes, hurrying us all on.

"Come on lads, get a move on don't forget all your SHOPPING" he barked at me and my friend just because I had a plastic bag with some sandwiches in.

God, imagine playing against that big bastard.
