I was listening to Talks**te the other night, Steve Cotterill was on
talking about Englands game tonight. He was discussing formations and tactics we might use and he made a really good point.
He said it doesn't actually matter what formation you play it is the tactics that detemine how attacking/defensive your team plays. He also stated that the 4-2-3-1 is the most flexable and even though there is only 1 frontman can be far more attacking than the 4-4-2 some normals are calling for. It really depends on the tactics the coach is deploying
Certainly made me think.
