Wouldn't actually rule it out with Howson

local lad, club captain when he was 21 or whatever, seen as the embodiment of the club. And he's never really won a starting place regularly here.

So not actually impossible that he'd go back there if they were in the prem (and if they wanted him, which they might well not).
