we didn't, we finished about as mid-table as you could possibly finish (except for 10.5th which is a bit impossible)

so 50% of teams in the league were overall worse than we were during the course of the entire season

so far in 2013/14 there are encouraging signs from where I am sitting, and using an away defeat at Spurs to count against things is a bit harsh if you ask me
