Any Payroll experts out there?
I leave my job on Friday and rather than deducting one days' pay from my usual monthly salary they have calculated my pay for September based on the number of days worked (20). This is a much larger deduction than 1 days' pay - do i have a right to be pissed off or is this standard practice?
It means if i did the same next month because there are more working days in October i'd actually have been paid more than a month's salary on leaving - that cant be right?!
