Because if you didn't think Norwich could win, you'd have just been the bookie yourself, and laid Norwich.

Then you'd have won cos it was a draw. You've have got the inflated odds the other way. Say Norwich were 1.72 to win, you'd have offered a punter to back that. They'd maybe put ?30 on to return ?51, meaning you'd lose 21 to them if Norwich won

Instead it was a draw and you'd have won the 30 by having Watford and the draw
