Continuing with the same style of play with that personnel were unsustainable
for any new manager coming in. That's why Hughton looked at our defence and felt we needed to improve that first.
Having done that last year, he's now looked at our attacking options and decided we need to change again, so has signed three top drawer forwards and a genuine class midfielder who can attack and pass the ball. The team hasn't gelled yet but that's partly due to the change in style and partly due to several new players in key positions. The team needs time to settle and bed down.
Sacking Hughton now would be madness - ask me again in December and if we haven't improved I'll agree with you. It's just too soon to judge is my point.
