Even if you get a rejection later, worth a follow up to acknowledge and ask for feedback....

Sometimes we're just up against people with stronger experience etc and theres nothing to re-proach youself about. However sometimes they might give you feedback of what they see as a weakness to either work on, or hide/minimise in an interview....
