A point about wanting managers out

Actually, because we have been reasonably blessed over the last four years, I suppose we have lost sight of the fact that it is actually quite rare for a manager to enjoy universal approval from supporters.

That's not to say that Hughton will last, however Boards up and down the country, up and down the divisions have to deal with heavy criticism of their managers and it doesn't automatically mean the end is inevitable.

Maybe McNally and the Board genuinely buy in to what Hughton is trying to do, maybe they see a bigger picture, a plan, a set of goals. Maybe not.

I remember friends who support Everton lambasting Moyes down the years, definitely wanting him out. They had worse starts than we've had to seasons.

Oh, I dunno. I still really don't know. But right now, it is too soon.
