That argument is meaningless
Yes, it would make sense if we were judging the performance of an individual who has been here since the bad days. But we're not.
Instead this is an assessment of a manager who took over a side which was full of goals and had just finished 12th in the Premier League.
In terms of assessing Hughton, good or bad, that argument is utterly meaningless.
