It's a little bit mental to sack a bloke who just spent a huge amount on assembling his ow

n team, no? If in the (very near) future, things continue to go poorly, he no longer has that argument to fall on. I'm talking 2-3 games more - enough time for a different manager to turn it around, whilst giving Hughton about 50 games to prove he is the man.

However bad a defeat was today, we could've won. And we could win next week.
