you cant get 8 cylinders, weights, dry suit, large holdall full over fins, masks, reels, reg sets, torches, hoods, gloves, knives, diver computers etc in the back of a golf.

I've done it easily with a passat and cruised down to north devon in 2 hrs, doing average of 80 getting 52 miles to the gallon.
