Question, I have acquired a Dell 1525 that's dying. It works, but the hard drive
appears to be failing (ie, boot in sometimes takes about 10 minutes)
I'll only use it on a weekend for streams cos the graphics card and processor should be decent
Question is, would it make a difference on the dying hard drive if I took Vista off it?
Would putting Linux or XP on prolong it's failing?
