I wouldn't give it that much credence

I really doubt he cares that much about how each tweet is perceived and nor should he. Unfortunately, there's a warped perception that your CE should spend a lot of time on twitter, speaking sense, but unfortunately, most people will have a slightly different idea of what sense is.

If it was up to me, he wouldn't be on twitter at all - just employ a psychology graduate with an interest in NCFC for 20 grand a year to do the comms and let the CE run the club properly in the background. That's just me though and I think he's doing a great job as it is.
