Did you get the helicopter rescue and all that ? Actually

that's what we were praying didn't happen! Limping on with the dog in the rucksack, we realised there was no shortcut down the mountain and ETA was about 20 minutes before sun down.

And Triglav is really rugged. Nowhere to land a helicopter close to the path. We were thinking what the hell would have happened if one of us had broken a leg!

Since then we've planned our hikes a bit better...
