(you only EVER do it once), is the bloody pain that blisters from new shoes brings. Walked miles and miles round Dublin on Friday night, and was on my hands and knees by the end of the evening with two weeping wounds.

Having consulted my work's first aider, she has just administered an 'antiseptic healer' that is new on me. Tumeric. I now have lovely seasoned if slightly yellow feet. Ready for simmering on a medium heat for 25 minutes at this rate!
