The smallest things can have dreadful consequences...

My broadband speed dropped right off so after contacting BT it was discovered there was a fault on the line. They tracked it down and discovered they had to dig up the road to repair the cable. Been ongoing for two weeks and just had a call from BT Manager to say yesterday a car had run into the roadworks and tragically a lady had died.
Has knocked me back a bit.
Apropos of nothing.
