Game did come at a good time for us though

Ok was only Bury but often these league cup games are an unwanted interruption whereas we have got some match fitness into players that needed it and notched a few goals to get the confidence up. In my view we are better off going into Saturdays game because of last night so I can kind of see his point.

That said only Bury and means nothing if we do not carry the attacking threat forward to Saturday.
