I suspect Hughton is one of those people who believes if you do it methodically, do it by the textbook, then you will succeed. I can understand why he got so upset by the ref - so did I - but football, like life, is seldom fair.
That's why Lambert succeeded. Blood & guts, character & determination. We seem to be losing that, & I worry it could be our undoing.
