I'm not sure where the blame lies.

The absolute basics were seemingly impossible today. Pass and move. The management don't want them to do that, the players don't want to do that. So what other factors are there? Uncomfortableness? Unfamiliarity, pressure of going one down against a team 'they should beat'? A mixture of all? Something more fundamental? Don't think we can tell from one game. Easy to harp back to last season, conveniently forgetting the 45% or so of games where none of these things were an issue.

Don't know what the answers are - there are people paid to work that out. We can only look in.
