You are making assumptions about the positions of cardiff and chelsea. You are assuming Cardiff will be relegation candidates...if they are above us when we play them as are chelsea it makes no difference to improving our chances to avoid relegation. People assumed the same for southampton last season... where in fact most of the season they were above us
