Today, Wright looked a good player - he seemed to settle in immediately, but he looked a little off the pace, which is not unsurprising as he's not played much first team football.

The Doc has settled in now he's playing right sided centre back, which is by far and away his best position. He would have settled in last season if he had been playing there, but he wasn't as Worthy has decided, mistakenly, that Flem was a better option there.

Iwan, as I recall, had a toe injury for most of the first season he was at the club. In the second season, when Rioch took over, he was fit and looked like he'd lost a stone in weight. He was a different player then. He also settled in.

So, in answer to your question. No. Players fit in by playing in their correct postion and by being good enough for NCFC.
