Yes, very silly and ridiculously violent but self-knowing.

The second film is also very violent but has a very nasty tone. On the whole it is enjoyable and well-meaning, succeeds in making you question whether your enjoyment of the first film sort of makes you complicit in the violence of the second.

Having watched it, I get why Jim Carrey had a 'change of heart' about it.
