Yes, but compare the players Palace have lost with the ones they've brought it.

They lost Kaviedes, Kolkka, Shipperley, Torghelle, Ventola and (most importantly) Routledge but they've brought it Darren Ward, Jobi McAnuff, Clinton Morrison, Marco Reich and Jon Macken.

Which is an infinitely better selection of players than the ones we've managed to attract. Their financial situation can't be that much better than ours, so why have we got such a terrible crop of players when they've managed to sign such a good selection?
