When I suggested we might have slighty overpayed for Hooper
it was no popular.
The facts remain that while he had a good scoring record he hasnt played in a top european division PLUS he had only 1 year left and would not sign another contract.
We had no choice because Queens-"Pissing money away" Rangers were involved.
The fact they were the only other team interested at that price proves it based on their horrendous record of overpaying for players.
