Italy can play the defencive game, it's been their strength for decades
Coaching and other countries are wise to it though. Ivory Coast had just as good a formation to play against Italy. Fair do's Italy weren't at full strength and did score a goal at the end that wasn't given
It did show that these nations can easily live with the top teams
Italy will go into the World Cup strong I think, Gilardino and Luca Toni are a right handful
