in the first place... Surely that is the point?

Like I say, this fanciful notion that he is a legitimate loan target 1 day after signing for Chelsea, without them assesing if he's good enough for their first team, is just absurd...

People may point to Lukaku - he was at Chelsea for a whole year before he got sent out on loan.
