Any legal bods around?
A friend has just changed companies (moved from consultant to being hired by the firm he was consulting, by agreement [and payment] between the two firms). He was on a salary with his old company, but was working abroad, so also got per diem expenses, paid in arears, monthly.
During the transfer to the new company, there was a large management change in his old company and since then, and therefore since the move, he has not received 2 full months of expenses. His old company have gone quiet despite saying they would pay what is owed; indeed his only contacts are the new management as the old management have all been ousted.
The expenses amount to thousands, so it is not a negligible amount...
What can he do to push this claim through?
