1961-62
I am currently writing a book about Liverpool's promotion campaign of 1961-62 and would like to contact any Norwich fans who have memories of Liverpool's visit to Carrow Road in September 1961, a game Liverpool won 2-1 with a late goal from Roger Hunt. In the book, I'm trying to get across what it was like watching professional football back in those days and I would be interested in those older fans who can give me some general information on watching Norwich in the early sixties: things like where the away fans tended to gather in those pre-segregation days, what the ground was like and any other anecdotal bits and pieces that tell the story of how going to Carrow Road was different and better than anywhere else. If anyone can actually recall the game in question, that would be great. Hope someone can help. Many thanks
