and I expected us to come straight back up. Then again I expected us to come straight back up in 95 too.

But the League Cup win was an EVENT and therefore stands above almost everything in terms of my football memories. The feeling of pride in victory was like nothing else.

And what is life if not the desire for experiences that ultimately become amazing memories (he said somewhat philosophically).
