big advantage we had yesterday...

Baggies played 3 up front and only 3 midfielders, which made it easy for our 5 man midfield to swamp that area and not give their defenders any easy out balls, thereby causing them to take longer on the ball and easier to close down.

Compare that, say, to when Fulham played here. We tried to do the same thing but they played 5 midfielders to match ours and were generally more comfortable on the ball than West Brom. This meant they did always have an out ball and were able to evade our pressing players quite easily and slow the game down to their pace.
