I've said this down below

It's all very well saying "it's all about staying up" and "it's a means to an end" but the most effective way to ensure staying up would just be to win a few away games. As it is we handicap ourselves by not beating or attempting to beat the teams around and below us. I'm not a "hark back to Lambert" type but last season we were generally extremely effective at beating the teams in the bottom half of the table. Whilst strangely we have become more effective against the good teams this season (and Hoots tactics are arguably right against those teams) playing the same way against everyone does not work and is denying us the chance to win games we can win. Just 2 or 3 away wins this season and we would already be safe!
