I think the frustration of most (including me) is that
even if we lose at home, we put in a shift, looking to try to win, WITH shots on goal.... and why the bejesus cant we take a similar appraoch to away games instead iof the utter tedium we endure? whilst the aim has always been "win your home games and try to nick a point away" will see you safe, I'd totally fed up with the one dimmensional tedious un-adventurous away tactics. Ok, holding to stoke to 0-0 away when both would be happy for a point, at say the 80 minute mark I totally get, but going 1-0 down on 46 minutes yet STILL employing basically the same negative tactics till theres 5 mins left is bemusing to most. I'd rather us go all out to try to score and risk losing another goal if I'm honest. Yesterday as soon as we went 1-0 down 80% of fans knes what the outcome was likely to be.
