school trip arranged by our chemistry teacher. Sat high up at the back; usual chatting, giggling & noises of sweets being unwrapped etc etc.
Then the curtains opened to the bass notes of Also Sprach Zarathustra & I was hanging, suspended in space, looking along the moon, the Earth & the sun.

All the background noise stopped.

Never experienced anything quite like it. Still the ultimate transcendental cinematic experience as far as I'm concerned.
