I've just learnt to hit a level with you where I'll express my view strongly, and I trust you to be ok about it. Because you usually are

I hope that comes accross as a compliment, I guess I'm saying I stand my ground or escalate what we're talking about because I respect you

If it had been someone else, I'd have just cut it short or been very dislikeable
