In 2009, the board announced a 7-year plan which included relegation from the Premiership

Their plan was promotion from League 1 in 2009/2010, spend two years in the Championship, promotion to the Premiership at the end of 2011/2012, relegation after one season, then promotion again.

It would be annoying if we go down because we really should have done better this season and I really hope this doesn't happen - but we are almost debt-free. Would relegation, if it does happen, really hurt us, given that the club has already budgeted for this possibility at this stage?

This is a serious question by the way.
