Absolutely!!

Thats what I don't get about the whole issue. I don't think the players are lieing to us because I don't see what purpose that would serve. If you did not like your boss why say things that would lead your employers to believe you were happy with things how they were? If the board think the players want WOrthington they are more likely to keep him. Pants has a point that it is natural to defend your colleagues but I reckon if you had a colleague you didn't like or trust you would keep your mouth shut rather than publically backing them.

However, as you say, the words are not being backed up on the pitch. It certainly doesn't look to me like all of the players are supporting Worthington or trying their best for him.

So if they do back him, what exactly is stopping them from proving it? Is it confidence? Is it the crowd? Are most of the team unfit? Is it the change from premiership to championship? God only knows!
