Not really a good comparator in my opinion
Anyway, at least in India they're taking steps to try to address the discrimination caste groups experience. In my experience, UK is the only country where I've lived that people are fascinated by class. Clearly wherever you live you fit into a socio-economic grouping, but only in Britain do people seek to define themselves by that grouping.
