How on earth would you see the light whilst still deeply in trouble with issues, and high on coke. Facing jail, that would be the exact moment you wouldn't have any clarity

The pat of the back writing that came to the conclusion that someone would have a sobering moment whilst deeply high on 2 drugs, was very poor form

I got why they did (to show you he drinks a lot), but alcoholics don't parade alcohol around morning noon and night. It's a very secret society thing

Other wise the same writers could have done a spin off about the woman in it, and she could just shoot up in the street all day and night to make sure the view understands she's addict :)
