I agree with some of this BUT

he's had a poor season, not a poor couple of games

Five goals all season (and five yellow cards!) - poor return

He turned up after the summer as one of the fattest footballers I've ever seen in the modern era. Absolute disgrace. He's a professional athlete, what the f**k does he think he's DOING??!! He wasted at least half a dizen games just getting fit- and that was on the back of the transfer request saga, which really pissed me off and pissed off a lot of supporters

So now we've got a bloke who pressured the club into giving him a pay rise and an extended contract, then turns up fat and slow, and then stops scoring

So of course we all have a big residue of gratitude towards him, but you can see why he's not top of the popularity charts this season

If he bloats out over the summer again and turns up looking half way to Hartson in August, I will be seriously fed up
