I agree but this was a huge step up from Brum and their position.

I couldnt see Hughton leaving for a midtable PL type club.

Maybe someone like Everton but Hughton has far more expereince at running a bigger club than Lambert.

he knows the pressures of a bigger club.

Our expectations are pretty simple....... Keep in this division with our limited resources.

If we can stay up then its looking likely that

(a) We wont bother with any big stadium plans

(b) He will have some real money to spend so we will probably get to see if we can turn some of these 0-0 draws into wins by adding attacking quality.
