ding dong; mr yellalee.....

a huawai wireless repeater arrived today in the post. the postman left it under the canoe as we were out but i digress, anyway i followed the instructions as best i could given my limited intellect/attention span and it doesn't function as well as i'd hoped to be perfectly honest. in fact it doesnt function at all and has failed to recognise my rooter. the indicator remains stubbornly yellow despite situating it right next to the router, shouting at it a lot and poking it with a pencil.

the instructions suggest that my rooter does not support wps functionality and therefore i need to use a "web-based" configuration through the wireless network of the ws320 (i stuck with it but, at this point, my eyes started to glaze over like i was at a railway enthusiasts after dinner speech) it then went on to burble on about configuring the network of the pc and the ws320 something.... wireless network.... burble burble.... something else.... burble.... at this point the words i were reading were somehow translated from the page to my brain into the script from the japanese version of wacky races.

would you be able to advise on what methodology i need to employ to get the bastard thing to work or should i get a geek in? thank you
