Steve Howard
His article in the Sun I thought was spot on today - Where does Rooney go in big games?
I've always felt that Rooney doesn't show up for England. More Red cards than goals at world cup's is poor for a top class international striker.
But he turns it on for Man U in Premier League but in Champions league he doesn't produce much after the Quarter's. I know he scored in the final but other than that I don't remember him touching the ball much.
Also think he is played out of position so it may not just be his fault, think he would be much better as an attacking midfielder in the Scholes role, and is wasted up front.
What does everyone else think?
